Packing Guide

Essential Packing Rules for Zero Damage

Pro tips straight from our experienced moving crew to keep your items safe and secure.

01

Heavy Items in Small Boxes

Books, tools, canned goods, and vinyl records belong in small 1.5 cu.ft boxes. Overloading large boxes causes bottom blowout and injury.

02

The "H-Tape" Sealing Method

Seal box bottoms with three strips of tape — one across the main center seam and two across the edge seams forming an "H" shape.

03

Fill All Air Voids

Empty spaces inside boxes cause them to crush when stacked. Fill remaining empty spaces with crumpled packing paper or towels.

04

Label Box Side Panels

Place room labels on the sides of boxes instead of the top, so box contents remain visible even when stacked high in rooms or trucks.
